Where the songs start

Olivia’s songs start simply: a guitar, a back porch and something that needs saying. She writes from what she’s lived — growing up in a rural Northern California community, the small towns and the people in them.

That’s where Bomb Proof comes from: hard years, a stubborn heart and the songs that got her through them.

Country/Americana songwriter Olivia Vega grew up in Northern California. She’s played guitar and written songs from a young age.

Olivia writes songs stemming from her personal experiences of growing up in a rural community. She chose to title her first album, “Bomb Proof”, to describe her resilience in the face of challenging life experiences.
